How to reach the house on foot

Arrive to the house from Railways Station or "Piazzale Roma" ( bus terminal)

It's easy to reach our house from the bus terminal of Venice, named "Piazzale Roma", or from Railway Station.  It will take on foot you no more than 10-12 minutes. However, the way is pointed out  by some yellow panels on the walls along the way, will show you the direction towards "San Marco".

You can reach the Railways station from Piazzale Roma stright on, crossing  the Grand Canal on the new bridge "Della Costituzione" (also called Calatrava's Bridge) or on the marble bridge "degli Scalzi", 500 meters farther, from the right side of the Canal.

If you arrive by train, exit from the station and turn on the left, towards the Grand Canal and the Scalzi's bridge. Near the bridge starts a broad commercial street, "Lista di Spagna", which is the beginning of the way to Rialto.

After 300 meters you will arrive in "Campo San Geremia", a square which will oblige you to a little detour to the left. Cross the next bridge "delle Guglie", so called for its four obelisques ("guglie"). Just after the bridge, turn on left along the Cannaregio's Canal: no longer, you can see the "Guglie" stop of public boat service ACTV. After 30 meters, there's open a tunnel at the corner of jewish restaurant "Gam Gam" : is the entry of Ghetto area,. and you're arrived.
